The status of the computer you are connecting with:
The configuration of you computer (laptop or desktop) hardware of software status of you computer will affect your connection speed to internet. If the cable is frequently getting broken, there will be interruptions in your ADSL as well as your telephone.
Telephone Company Operation
the data traffic of the user may result in the cluttering of the Internet service providers before reaching the Internet pool, leaving them unable to provide sufficient data.
The Distance from the Switchboard:
ADSL is a communication technology which gets slower as the distance gets longer. In ideal circumstances, up to 5.5 km distance from the switchboard where the central devices are set up, a speed of up to 512 Kbps of ADSL can be provided.
